Dr. Luke Czer grew up in Santa Monica, CA and earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA before going on to complete his DDS degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. While in dental school, he met and later married his beautiful classmate, Janelle, who is also now a dentist.
After dental school, Dr. Luke commissioned as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and completed a 1-year residency at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, where he gained further training in oral surgery, prosthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics. After the residency, he was stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas where he cared for the dental needs of active duty service members.
Upon completion of his assignment in Texas, Dr. Luke moved back to California to embark upon a career in private practice. Dr. Luke maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest continuing education courses.
Dr. Luke enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, excursions to the beach, mountains, and anything outdoors, a good read, and a great Dodgers game.
Dr. Saifee has had a passion for periodontics ever since he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He is professional but personable and tries to ease any worries patients have when they come in for a visit.

After practicing general dentistry for several years, Dr. Gegamian realized he had a passion and talent for endodontic procedures prompting him to specialize in this area of dentistry. His expertise in endodontics allows him to create specialized treatment plans for his patients while making sure they feel comfortable with their dental procedures.

A new crown which I had received elsewhere, came off, and my dentist was unavailable to replace it, so I went to Johnson Family Dental. I know them already because I regularly go there for their wonderful hygienist, Karin Cross. I had said I would be happy with any dentist there, so I was assigned Dr Scott (I think, not sure). Anyway, he was amazing. I could tell he really knew what he was doing, and even though it was an uncomfortable process adjusting the new crown so it fit perfectly, I so appreciated his expertise. Thank you so much to Johnson Family Dental for being there when I needed you…for a very fair prize as well.
We chose Johnson Family Dental for our son's braces five years ago. We also go as a family for our dental needs. Have had nothing but great experiences with them, from the front desk to the back staff and dentists. Hats off to Dr. Luke for easing my irrational and deep-seated fear of dentists with transparency, gentleness, and kindness.

Forget the bad reviews here. It seems there is too many "Karens" and hatters. This review is long over due. I have been coming to Johnson for years now. The dental team has always been very attentive and helpful. They always greet you with a smile and answer all my questions. Any time I have had trouble with my insurance (which seems to be the problem) they always help me resolve and get them to pay. They follow up with any questions or concerns and get me in right away when ever the family has dental emergency. The kids love coming for the balloons and their toothbrush. I will continue to come here as they are the best in Ventura!

Chary tambien con buen sentido del humor siempre me ayudaba con lo que necesitaba. I’ve never liked going to the dentist, and they always make me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. Luke is amazing, he is personable, listens to my questions and concerns, takes his time, and makes me feel heard. It’s so nice to have a provider that doesn’t just make you feel like another patient, but talks to you like a human. The hygienist is amazing, and so are the rest of the staff. I’ll never go to another dentist.

I recently got braces at Johnson family dental. If you've ever had braces you know How annoying it can be. Dr.S And her assistant Chary Explored every option and came up with the best solution for my individual needs . I would highly recommend Johnson family dental. I chose family Dental because of the location. It was a great choice. I get notifications just before my appointment time, waiting times are very short, and this visit they offered a mouth cancer scan. Very simple procedure. My visit was for a cleaning but I got xrays and a Dr.s visit. All to make sure of my dental health and no out of pocket expenses. Thank you Family Dental and the staff that takes care of me.

Johnson Dental put me in the decision-making I received clear & informative information on what needed to be done. Received a broken down invoice on the treatment plan. I regret being skeptical on finding another dentist. Everytime I seeked new Dentist they usually tell me what the plan they are going to-do, however I regret there decision-making within months. Especially when I see the bill.
I’ve ALWAYS have had bad experiences with dentists, which is why I allowed my teeth to get so bad. At The Johnson Family Dental, they not only made me feel comfortable at every visit, the dentist “Dr. G” made sure that I was comfortable on the chair. She was so gentle, it became very easy for me to TRUST her working on my teeth. On the day she was not at work, another dentist prescribed me the antibiotics I needed. Any likes or dislikes, Dr. G makes sure she writes it in my chart, so not only she can read it, but her assistants, as well as other dentist can read it. I always had to take anxiety medication or be put to sleep for my treatments with other dental groups, but at Johnson Family Dental, I know I will be comfortable and in good hands, no matter which dentist treats me. The office has all the updated tools and equipment necessary to run a top notch dental office. With this, I highly recommend Johnson Family Dental. What do you have to lose? If your unhappy you can always take your business somewhere else.

Had a wonderful post op consult with Dr. Coats and the staff were very helpful and thorough. I would just complain that I had called on a Friday to verify my new insurance and then had to do it all again during today’s visit. Still 5 star service though.
My 8 year old son needed to get 3 of his teeth extracted. He said it was a good experience and he did not have any pain. He came out smiling.

Very friendly professional and polite. I called with an emergency because I had a really horrible tooth that was broken and just in excruciating pain. They were able to get me in and discuss in detail all of my many options. My insurance doesn't cover Johnson dental. However I choose to be a cash pay patient here for many reasons Including their more the wonderful staff. They also have finance options if you cant afford the cost all at once. Overall just an amazing experience from beginning to end!

Good experience! I was very nervous about getting 2 root canals, but everyone I interacted with put me at ease. I was given clear instruction, was made comfortable, and even some tips on how to make it all more manageable (headphones and music up ). There was no pain, I just really hate the noises. Great team!

Dr. Kim is amazing. She took the time to listen to me, addressed all my questions and was able to get me in for my fillings the same week as my initial consultation. She did a fantastic job doing my fillings and spent extra time fixing my chipped front teeth and now they are perfect!! She’s given me so much more confidence in my smile and in myself. Her techs, Sonia and Priscilla were incredible as well! They made me feel so welcome and comfortable and made everything so easy for me. Front desk, Emily, was great about checking me in and out and answering all questions I have. By far the best dentist I’ve been to.

This had to be the best dental group i have been to! Great staff polite genital yet they got all the work done very quickly and painlessly. I got a full deep cleaning done in 2 consecutive days including an extraction pn the second day sounds like a lot but i had very little soreness either day. Thank you staff of Johnson family dental!

the dental hygiene Paula was super awesome! I appreciated all she did for me. But my appointment didn't go smoothly because the front desk staff didn't handle things correctly getting my info from the SB office. They took forever to get my records so I had to wait and in the end Paula cleaned my teeth without having my records and did not give me the right treatment. I asked them if they wanted to reschedule to get things in order but insisted it was fine. It was not fine and wish I would have trusted my gut. Despite the frustration with everything going wrong, everyone was super nice. I'm hoping my next visit goes better than this one and they are ready for me.

I have had a really great experience coming here. It had been over a decade since I had been to a dentist because I had a fear of the dentist. Dr Kim and the whole team helped me get over my fear completely. They are friendly, caring, and efficient. Since I became a patient last year I have had multiple cavities filled as well as cosmetic gum lazering and crowns. Each experience has been a positive one and I am so proud of my healthy, happy smile.

I went into the dentist with stained yellow teeth and came out with an all new smile. Now keep in mind here that this is my very first time getting any work done by them. However after my cleaning it has boosted my confidence and my smile. After my first cleaning I just want to smile even more now even though I didnt like to before. The dentist's assistant, Sonia, was amazing! What brought me in today, was a bike accident I was involved in, which caused my two front teeth to be pushed back, completely out of the bone. During my X-Rays and pictures, I was nervous of it "possibly" hurting. Boy, was I wrong! Sonia tried VERY carefully to not knock my front teeth at all, and she was successful! Thank you Sonia for being so gentle and cautious about my concerns! The remaining staff was very welcoming and polite as well. Very "homey" atmosphere, which I very much so appreciated...

I absolute love coming here the office is so unique compared to the other office I've been to, they have fresh cookies, juice and water that are available to us while we are waiting to be seen. The greeters at that front are super friendly and helpful always nice to see them when coming in. The doctors are super nice and genuine they make me feel like an actual person and not a number like other offices. They definitely pay attention to detail. I will recommend them any day!!
When I first walked into Johnson Family Dental I was amazed at the cleanliness of the office the friendly smiles and personalities. I had an appointment at 9:00am and was in my opertory by 8:55am. The staff there is very informative and educated in there specific job title. The assistant that helped me was a guy which was different for me it was the time I'd had a male assistant, he was so personable and made me feel at ease. I would and have recommended this office to my friends and family. So if you are looking for a dental office that knows what they're doing and does great work go check them out..
Amazing service!!!! I would definitely come back here.I've been with the same dentist for years and I was having a horrible tooth ache and couldnt get back to see him. They squeezed me in the same day and did not make me wait long at all. They did an emergency root canal and made sure the whole time I was comfortable. I have never been to such a professional dentist office in my life.
This is my favorite Dental office ever. The office staff, hygienist, dentist are all so very nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone, including those who don't have insurance.
Wonderful experience in a brand new office. Nice friendly staff and Dentists. Parking is awesome and it's in a convenient location by the mall. Called for an emergency and got in that day. If you are looking for a new dentist, this is the spot to be.
